Weigh In Wednesday - Week 19

Wonk-Wonk.  TOM strikes again.  I should be upset but my weight was actually higher yesterday. It doesn't look like I'm going to make my goal of being in Onederland by Valentine's Day but I gave it my best effort.  There's just not much I can do during TOM.  I do the same thing I do every other week and can't stop the gain.  Next week will be better.


  1. Hey Lori, I have been reading you for years. I was actually wondering if you've ever looked at the fasting or high fat/low carb diets. I started doing both about 2 months ago and I have found that both of them are much easier to follow than any traditional diet I went on before (in terms of calorie counting and tons of exercise), and I've been losing weight much more easily and have had very few to no carb cravings. I don't know if it works with fibroids or not, but it might be worth checking out. I read Gary Taubes' book "Why We Get Fat" and it seemed to make a lot of sense as well.

    1. Hi Kiera, I've tried low carb before and I just doesn't work well for me. But that's great that you're doing well with it, a lot of people are really happy with that diet. Thanks , Lori
